The Southgates

Consisting of four young musicians from Oulu, The Southgates are inspired by British new wave. They may be young, but the promise of a long career is there. The Southgates’ soundscape is made of familiar and nostalgic elements combined with original lyrics and beautiful melodies. The lyrics in the guitar-driven songs are based on observations of a young adult’s world. The set consists purely of self-composed material.
