ALMA AND SUEDE (UK) TO PLAY AT QSTOCK
Finnish international pop star Alma and Britpop cornerstone Suede (UK) are the latest bookings to the line-up of this summer’s Qstock festival in Oulu, Finland.
Alma has become a huge pop phenomenon within just a couple of years. Her songs have been streamed over 500 million times on Spotify. Alma has appeared on big stages, supporting artists like Christina Aguilera, and collaborated with many other popular international names. The show at Qstock will be her only festival gig in Finland this coming summer.
Suede hit the big time in 1993 with the single Animal Nitrate and their legendary debut album Suede. After a successful decade in the international forefront, the group called it quits but hinted they would return later. Finally, Suede made a comeback in 2010, after which they have released three albums. The latest one, The Blue Hour from one and a half years ago, was welcomed enthusiastically.
Also confirmed for Qstock are Finnish acts Ida Paul & Kalle Lindroth, Adi L Hasla, Darude, Vesterinen yhtyeineen, Blind Channel, Humavoid, Maija Vilkkumaa, Anssi Kela and Insomnium. The international bill is complemented by open-minded genre hybrid Kontrust from Austria and rapidly rising Clara Mae from Sweden.

Qstock ticket sale speed by this date has exceeded previous years, but all ticket types are still available. The current, lower ticket prices are valid until the end of March.
