Amorphis

Drama, dark tones, and melodic riffs of legendary scale – these are the elements which super popular Amorphis is made of! Well-known also abroad, the Finnish touring monster was formed in the 1990s, and there has been no return to the former state of things since. Ingeniously combining death metal, doom, melancholy melodies, and northern folklore, Amorphis paved the way for a musical genre that still lives on. The album ”Tales from the Thousand Lakes” from 1994 along with its successor ”Elegy” are still relevant releases for the melodic death metal enthusiasts. Since the nineties, Amorphis have released 14 studio albums, of which ”Halo” as the latest one came out in February 2022. The album is a closure for one of the storylines in Amorphis’ extensive catalogue, constituting the last part of a trilogy that began with ”Under the Red Cloud” in 2015.

Following the release of Halo, Amorphis will treat the Qstock crowd with their most spectacular and magnificent show to date. As a result, the late Saturday evening on the Main Stage will feature a world-class concert packed with soul-caressing melodies, wide vocal scales, and a fierce attitude.
