Lucifer (SE/DE)

Occult rock is not dead! Led by German singer Johanna Sadonis, Lucifer is nowadays basically a Swedish group that have been playing 70s style hard rock with a personal twist since 2015 when their debut album Lucifer I came out. The group’s interest factor in the eyes of rock enthusiasts climbed dramatically in 2017, when multi-instrumentalist Nicke Andersson – known for his work with Hellacopters, Entombed and Imperial State Electric – joined the group. Lucifer released their fourth album (logically entitled Lucifer IV) in October 2021. The band are still flirting with the occult, bowing to the direction of Black Sabbath, Blue Öyster Cult and Deep Purple, and showing no signs of slowing down.
